Indonesians are hungry for success.
And Telkomsel wanted to tap into that zeitgeist.


 

Indonesia's leading telco, Telkomsel, was due for a revamp after holding onto their old image for 25 years. Our task? To create a brand centerpiece; a bold, ambitious film that represented Indonesians from all walks of life.

And with Indonesia's start-up culture fired up, Telkomsel wanted to jump in on the hype and tell Indonesians –  it’s time to 'Make Sh*t Happen’.
 

Directed by the renowned Indonesian filmmaker, Joko Anwar, this film tells a madcap story where seemingly unrelated scenarios flow together, united by Indonesia’s enabler; Telkomsel. Shot over six days with more than 20 custom-built sets and locations, it captures the spirit of Indonesia’s dynamic, inspirational energy.

Production

This commercial was shot under tight COVID restrictions. It took us six days and a fully remote working crew. with 20 custom-built sets and locations.
