Cathay Pacific Safety Video

Cathay Pacific

Hong Kong has a whole lot of everything. Lights, colours, sounds, textures, flavours. It has an intensity and energy that leaves an indelible impression on every visitor. However, to someone from the outside, it can be a bit of a whirlwind.

We decided to create an in-flight safety video that doubles as a guide to navigating this vibrant city.

The film takes us across a breadth of the Hong Kong experience: from dai pai dong to cha chaan teng, Cantonese opera to dragon boat racing, and from the iconic Peak Tram to Shek O Beach.

Throughout the different scenes, physical signs are embedded into the environment – all made from scratch by our hugely talented art department team!

Creative Team: Andrew Hook (ECD), Megha Ramesh, Drishti Khemani
Agency: VCCP Singapore

It was a whirlwind 7-day shoot—working from every imaginable location, running across islands, getting fed some of the best food (strictly for research purposes 😎),and ooooh-ing at all the art department magic.
